Chlorine Dioxide is used as oxidant, deodorant, preservative and bleacher etc. It enjoys a good popularity for the properties of remarkable microbicidal effect, no harm to humans & animals and no secondary pollution to the environment. Chlorine Dioxide does not only serves as a broad- spectrum environmental and carcinogen-free bactericide and disinfectant, but also shows significant effect on killing bacteria, food preserving and deodorizing.

Chlorine Dioxide is a broad-spectrum efficient bactericidal agent. Many studies abroad have shown that even at low concentrations (0.1ppm),ClO?is effective enough to kill many pathogenic bacteria such as E. coli and staphylococcus, or even if interfered by organic substances and at concentration of dozens of ppm, it can kill all microorganism like vegetative forms of bacteria, hepatitis viruses, phage and bacterial spores.

Chlorine Dioxide is an alternative for chlorine as biocide-algaecide in circulating cool water, and the dosage of 30-50mg/L every 2-3 days is preferred. 10 to 15 minutes’ acid-activation treatment should be done before use, then into the circulating pump suction. When used as slime remover, the dosage should be 100-200mg/L.

 Chlorine Dioxide should be used immediately after activation treatment.

Alkaline. Avoid contact with eye and skin. In case of contact, flush with water immediately.
